I really appreciate the call I get a day or two before my service. It really helps for scheduling purposes. Pleasant technicians and good results are nice too.

I have been very pleased so far. They have come out twice now and I've had no complaints. I've done some price comparison and for the price they are very fair. There are cheaper options but you get what you pay for and I think they are definetly worth it.

Prices are pretty reasonable...Venture Pest helped me with the yellow jackets in my front yard. When yellow jackets got re-located to another spot in my yard, Venture Pest came the next day after I called and did another treatment for free. I would recommend them to anybody who needs pest control company!

A representative came to my door from Venture Pest Control. He was very pushy and guaranteed me their service and prices could not be beat. So I reluctantly agreed to give them a try. This was in April 2012. One reason I signed was they agreed to have a comparable rate ( I was paying $65 a quarter.) I paid that the first quarter, then the price went up to $95 a quarter. They did the next 3 treatments - July, October, January. They were not sweeping away the hard to reach webs as I was told they would do and there seemed to be a high number of bugs around.



I was then living in two places. I called in June 2013 and scheduled an appointment so that I could be at the home the morning of service, as there were numerous bugs around the house. On the day of the scheduled appointment no one showed. When I called I was told that no appointment was scheduled. I had stayed at the house specifically for this appointment, and needed to return to GA that very day. I was told that the soonest a technician could get out was much later in the day. (Which would not work for me since I had to drive back with 2 small children.) At that point I cancelled my service with Venture and assumed the whole thing was closed.



2 months later I have received a call stating that since I did not finish out my contract (not true since I started the contract in April 2012...) I would need to reimburse them $130 for the "discount" they gave me. WAIT... THEY failed to show up for almost 6 months, THEY failed to show up for a scheduled appointment, THEY did not do the job their door to door salesman guaranteed they could do, and I have to pay?!



TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! STAY AWAY!

Very happy with Venture. Got tired of treating the home myself so when a salesmen knocked on my door I decided to give him a shot. During the treatment, I walked the home with the service man to see what he was doing and found that he was very friendly and did a very thorough job. All treatments have been effective and would highly recommend the service.

last summer a sales person for this company was going door to door in my neighborhood. He explained how his company works, that they do several regular treatments a year, and additional free of charge treatments if required. We signed up for the plan, and they were out to treat our home with in a week. The lady that came out didn't seem to know what she was doing, but she seemed to do a good job at making sure everything was treated with the pesticides. over the next few weeks we didn't see a change in the amount of bugs around our home. I work 2 jobs and my husband works 50-60 hours a week, i was not able to call them back right away to tell them it was not working. When i spoke with them about 1-2 months later i explained that it didn't work, and they said i should have called sooner (i understand, but i'm busy!!) they sent another person out, and he was supposed to put pellets in our whole year (1/4 acre) and spray around the house. he was here less than 10 minutes! how can you do all of that in minutes??? several weeks later they called to set up the next quarterly visit, and i told them that it had not worked again and that the person was only here for 10 minutes, and there is no possible way he did what he was supposed to. Once again, the person on the phone was arguing with me that i should have called. I think they should do follow up calls to see how everything went. i told them i wanted to cancel because their company doesn't do what they said they would. They told me that i owe them $70 for canceling, and i refused to pay them, because their service doesn't do what it is supposed to.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star, if this site would let me.



My advice to you: go with killingsworth. I was with them before, and should have stayed with them. I just thought i would try something different.

Not happy at all with this com...

Not happy at all with this company. They come at your door and promise you that they can do the job, from bugs to mosquitoes and all kids of other bugs... and then once they got you on a contract they don't take care of the problem. Yes, they came to treat for pests but the stuff they used was not working... their only excuse was:" this year there is a bug infestation in Charlotte due to the mild winter we had"... Well, that's the reason I hired you, to get rid of them.... I tried to give them more time to take care of the problem but still the same result.... No, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'll try another company.
