The Animal Shelters

These incredible people saved a old Shar-Pei that the average shelter would have killed almost immediately -- and then found a way for her to get to us in Florida where she has had a great couple of years! Shelly and her staff totally rock ♥

I made a call asking if they happen to have a telephone number to the humane society. The lady said no and i said could i ask her if... and i was cut off by her stating " can you hurry , i got to do something!" very rude. How do you expect anyone to volunteer or adopt any pets with people who have ugly attitudes like that. No i will not be dealing with this shelter and will not advise anyone else to do so either. How are the pets treated?????

We took our cat here as a last ditch effort because we could no longer giver her the home she deserves. The staff was very rude and assumed that we abused her. We were scolded for not having her spayed. She assumed that we were bringing her into the shelter because she was pregnant, but we did not even know she was. She got out by accident one day while we were gone and that is how she ended up. Our cat is very loved and the staff assumed that we just wanted to discard her. In the end, we decided it was best for her to stay with us than to give her to a staff that was rude and cruel. We felt that if she acted in that manner towards us, she would to the animals as well. She made us out to be terrible people for wanting the best for our cat that we could not give her. If it were possible I wouldn't even give this any stars.

This is the perfect place to adopt a loving animal for your home. Many of the animals have already begun training and just need some TLC. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many who need homes so stop by- we did and are very pleased!!!
