Galveston Elementary School is a public school that has a staff of more than 50 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes classroom teachers, Title I aides, health assistants, nurses, social workers, bookkeepers, custodians, art and music professionals, speech and hearing pathologists, and health and physical education instructors. It teaches over 325 students in kindergarten through grade six. Galveston Elementary School is a part of the Southeastern School District, which operates three schools with a total enrollment of nearly 1,600 students. The school organizes classes in art and music, band, Title I, and special and physical education. Located in Galveston, Ind., Galveston Elementary School organizes a fun run that encourages fitness and wellness through physical activities.
