        Founded in 1965, Northwestern Elementary School is part of the Northwestern School Corporation in Howard County, Ind. The school offers classes in various subjects, including mathematics, English, science and technology, social studies, language arts, health education, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It also offers various sports programs and organizes extracurricular activities for students, including math bowl, entertainers, spelling bowl and art plus. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and participates in various school events. Located in Kokomo, Ind., Northwestern Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 600 students, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through six.
