The Studio Bridal Couture Gallery

I was attracted to the Studio because of there selection of Alfred Angelo gowns. We ordered my dress as well as bridesmaids dresses. The prices were ok but even though everyone was measured, all but one of my bridesmaid dresses needed alterations. One dress cam eback WAY to big and when we asked about it they claimed it was because the girl had lost three inches which had NOT. The alterations were expensive, could only be paid in cash and appointments for the alterations cn only be made two days during the week in the middle of the day, not very convenient.

Avoid "The Studio" if at all possible - take the time to travel to Thomasville if looking for a couture gallery. I used them for both my bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses and have had numerous problems. All my bridesmaids who got measured by their staff received gowns that didn't fit (the ones who were measured elsewhere had gowns that fit perfectly) one was 4 sizes too large, the other about 4 sizes too small. When dealing with them to order dresses I received several different stories as to why they hadn't yet arrived (including a bold faced lie that FedEx only ships 2-day delivery, not overnight). Not to mention that their store is always incredibly hot - poor a/c circulation...not what you want when trying on 30lb dresses that are stiflingly hot already. While some staff members are helpful and nice, others definitely are not. And if you're planning on getting your gown altered there, be prepared to pay CASH ONLY (even though they accept both local checks and credit cards for any other purchase), something which I found rather shady. I know there are limited stores in Tallahassee for bridal gowns, but avoid this one if at all possible.
