Wise Rentals

I found Wise Rentals to be both communicative and reliable. All fees were explained up front and there were no surprises.

Prior to moving in, I never met with the landlord outside of being shown the house. I was asked to fill out my lease (which was emailed) and to drop off my deposit. The house was in an unclean state upon move in, and I had major spider issues. After moving out, I was told I was only getting $4 back from from $600 refund. It took two weeks for them to finally get me the reasons why. They said I had a large amount in damages and the remainder was spent on cleaning the house. Both of which I do not agree with. There was a small ding in the wall, but outside of that, there were no damages. In addition, I took the house at an uncleaned state so I do not feel I should be charged for it being cleaned. I was told I was in the wrong because I didn't have a move-in checklist completed on the property. However, I was never instructed to fill one out of given the form. I asked for a copy of my signed lease, but never received the copy, which is illegal. Overall, a terrible company.
