Chip's Transmissions

Absolutely awful customer service! Was lied to and misled multiple times! I dropped my car off for a clutch replacement on 7/15/16, as they stated it would be a half-day repair. They told me they did not have a part to repair and it will be on Monday, Tuesday at the lastet. Inconvenient, but I understood. Monday comes, not repaired. Still waiting on part to be delivered, they stated. Refused to give tracking on the part, but guaranteed Tuesday arrival. Tuesday comes, no part. Said "the shipper" said it'll be there Wednesday guaranteed. Once again, refused tracking number. So, I had to book a weekly rental at Enterprise @ $287. Car was finally done on Friday the 22nd. I had to drive 8 hours back to TN to get my car only to find the repair incomplete. I had to replace the master and slave cylinder myself! All they offered was a $100 discount on a $1650 repair! I was constantly lied to, they refused to give me the tracking number on my part, and they didn't even repair the issue!

Chip is a good-hearted guy who is truly there to help customers. The first night of our Pigeon Forge vacation, our transmission acted up and, especially in the mountains, needed a quick response. Chip was welcoming and gave outstanding service and information. Anybody who needs transmission help can rest assured that Chip will not overcharge, and will put your mind at ease with his excellent service. From Michigan, with Love!

I was in South Carolina, my daughter was in Tennessee, and the transmission light on her SUV was flashing. I picked CHIP'S TRANSMISSIONS from the list of choices, mainly because it was the only one rated with 5 stars. Now, I know why! He patiently listened to this distraught mom ramble about her daughter, who was having transmission problems. He told me he understood a parent in panic and stayed open (past his normal operating hours) for my daughter to arrive. Extra care was taken to thoroughly check out her vehicle; and, Chip even gave her his cell number to call in case something else went wrong. That is truly CUSTOMER SERVICE at it's finest!
