Got a very sweet dog from them but he had severe separation anxiety and was destructive. No one ever told me anything about it. Fell in love with him and decided to work our way through it. Had to take him back to help family in Florida for an indefinite amount of time. Had every intention of getting him, if he was still available when I got back. Then, I got the displeasure of having to deal with the director, Linda. She said she would refund me $75. Time after time, she said the check had been sent and it hadn't. I stayed persistent and finally received a check for $60 about 2 months later. Worst place ever if you need to return a dog! Plus, I sent him back with a $30 bed and a new leather collar. I would never deal with this place again, thanks to the director and others being dishonest! Very unprofessional!!

I fell in love with one of their dogs on line. When I went to adopt her, they immediately let us meet and hold the dog so we could get to know each other. It was after we fell in love with her that they told us we had to bring our other dogs to meet her. But they are 1800 miles away because we are from Louisiana. They said we could not adopt the dog. When I suggested that they should ask questions and mention that stipulation before they let someone fall in love with the animal, thesnide response was, "I will bring it up at the next staff meeting."

My friend went into PAWS looking for a second dog. She ended up finding one she liked and put a $10 hold on him so she could bring her current dog over to meet him (PAWS policy). She came back the next day with her dog and the one of the PAWS employees told her that she was not able to get the dog that she put a hold on. They had sent her a $10 check in the mail. Another one of the employees had wanted the dog for herself... needless to say the employees are rude and disrespectful. We will not be going back to PAWS anytime soon. Would give 0 stars but you have to select at least 1.

they told us we had 30 days to return her so we want to (30 days is up now ) and they didn't get back to us take your dog back

We felt profiled and discriminated against by PAWS. I was quickly looked up and down by the manager and told that she would not adopt a dog to me because of my child. The dog was listed as being good with kids. Another staff person yelled at me and asked if it was just me and my child. When I replied yes she rolled her eyes at me and said...yeah...no. my manager won't adopt this dog to you. I will never adopt a dog from this shelter. The cat house was good all around including the staff. The only reason they received 1 star.
