Preparing my daughters hair for back to school used to be stressful until we started going to African glamour braids. The environment is children friendly, the workers are nice and welcoming, and the workers treat you with respect.

The girls are so professional there basically master braiders. They are so kind, lovely and patient. I got box braids and I like it very much. My first experience there was so good that I'm going to choose African glamour braids as my permanent salon.

Fatou and the girls do a magnificent job braiding hair. Its like they were born to braid hair, they just don't mess up.

This experience was a disaster, the shop was dirty, the stylists were extremely rude and lacked customer service skills. They are all about taking your money and they do not care about the quality of their work... do not go here or suggest this place to anyone!!

This shop should hire an entirely new team of stylists or be closed down altogether, because the ones that work there now are ill-mannered, argumentative and tactless. They refused to fix my hair after I told them I did not like it, they said "it is supposed to look like that..." My hair was horrible and the "stylist" was very hostile and the other "stylists" started to gang up on me and tell me that my hair was fine when I obviously looked like there was a nest sitting on top of my head. The cops were called because I wasn't going to leave without my hair being fixed and I definitely was not going to pay her if she refused to fix my hair. There should be an option for no stars just for this so called "business". I also asked them if they write their own reviews and they said yes... I could not believe it that should have been my red flag right there... stay away from here.

It was really fast looks awesome and with unbelievably low prices they let you sky in comfortable seats and watch your favorite shows

This is a wonderful place to come an get a nice hair style. The ladies are very welcoming honest and hardworking. The prices are great and the work performed is exceptional. The atmosphere is very claim relaxing and home away from home. These ladies are wonderful and will build a loving relationship with anyone. Please come visit you want be disappointed...

This was one of the worst braiding experiences I've ever had!!!!!! All the stylist were rude. They wat over charged me. I found a style in their.braud book and online their book had a price of 70 posted but they would not stick to this price. I read some of the negative reviews but i did not listen. I am a real customer those other reviews must have been gake. The salon was dirty. They were for my appointment because they said they had to eat???? They didnt speak to me the entire time and expected a tip after that!!! HHORRIBLE DO NIT USE THIS SALON!!!!####!! If i could give them a 0 I would.

Just got my hair braided today & I freaking loved it! The ladies are extremely friendly better than any other braiding shops I've been too & I recommend all you ladies to go there

This place is rude, unprofessional and arrogant about its ignorant nature. When I arrived there were two braiders already with customers. I asked her how long would it take and if I would have 2 braiders on my head and she rudely replied that it would depend upon if her other customers arrived. Here I had an appointment and there was no braider aval. I will be going to my salon in Dallas off of Skillman from now on for the service and professionalism, and African Glamour Braids in Plano should be closed down.
