EXPLORE THE COWBOY INSIDE: Always been drawn to Horses and the ranch life, but growing up in orange county its rare to find a place to explore that side of me. Finding Sunshine & Daydreams in Riverside is an opportunity to enjoy Horseback riding and a taste of what daily life on a Ranch entails. I wanted more than just a ride on a rental string Horse, and they delivered. I learned tacking up and grooming, how to approach a horse and basic communication.

The trail ride was on a beautiful preserve along the Santa Ana River a grand experience that I did not want to end. Sonja knows and loves Horses and her staff made my experience unforgettable and so much fun. It’s not just a stable It’s a learning center.

Sunshine and Dayreams is a great place to visit to not just go rent a horse, but to actually learn how to ride the horse you are renting! Both my 13 & 16 year old daughters and I went riding with a friend and his 12 year old daughter last weekend and had an awesome experience! I would reccomend Sunshine and Daydreams to anyone!

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST BUSINESS TO EXPERIENCE YOUR HORSE BACK RIDING WITH. DURING OUR FIRST RIDE ON THEIR HORSE,MY SON AND I WERE THROWN OFF THE HORSE AND DID NOT RECEIVE ANY EMERGENCY TREATMENT. WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND BUT NOW THE COMPANY IS IGNORING THE FACT THAT THEY STATED THEY WOULD ISSUE IT. THE LADY WE WENT WITH, SONJA IS A VERY UNSYMPATHETIC AND UNFRIENDLY PERSON SO DO NOT EXPECT TO BE TREATED WELL AT ALL. AFTER I FELL I WAS FORCED TO WALK BACK WITHOUT ANY HELP WHEN I COULD BARELY EVEN WALK. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS WHEN ALL THEY DO IS LIE AND CHEAT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently visited my boyfriend in California and wanted to do something fun. I found Sonja, she has an amazing set up and great people who work for her. I enjoyed the Sweet Heart trial ride and would highly recommend it to anyone. I definitely will be coming back very soon.

It´s a fun place to visit Sonja is fun and cares a lot about her horses. I rode with my family and we were all happy- out girls 19 and 21- had not had much trail riding experience before but really liked the horses and that Sonja treated them well and explained lots to them. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a trail ride that leaves you feeling good about how the horses are treated.

I rode with my wife and two daughters 19 and 21. I rode Mule who was great though hungry.. we all had a really nice ride and time. My daughters have not ridden much before and really enjoyed their horses- Susanna who rode New Galis was really happy with her cute horse. Sonja is fun , read others complain she barks but she doesn´t bite and she cares deeply for her animals. Overall it was a fun ride .

Ride n at sunshine and Daydreams has been a Great adventure for me with lots of different horses and different scenery each time ,

I feel blessed to have found this place to ride and enjoy Southern Ca.

if she raises her voice it is because of the seriousness of Safety and i personally have enjoyed the past 2 months because of the warm welcome i received at this riding service .... If u go for a trail ride than listen to the instruction and ENJOY the ride if you want LESSONs then take LESSONs first before you go hop on a horse and expects it to drive like a machine .... I had a blast and I WILL BE BACK !!!

I have ridden with Sonja several times and every time I have had a wonderful experience and learned something new, even though I used to own horses several years ago myself. The stable is not your typical stable, it is a rescue facility and breeding facility as well as a stable for the beginner to the advanced rider. Rides consist of only 3 people and are tailored to the least experienced rider. All rides come with instruction from Sonja for the safety of the rider and the horses. The horses are extremely well trained and are kept up very well hoofs are trimmed, eyes are clean and they are well groomed. The trails are gorgeous and rides are varied.

I highly recommend this facility for riding. However, It is not a stable for those who do not want to do it right and are not concerned about their own safety.

On a warm spring day that my fiancee, future father-in-law and I were visiting my hometown we thought it would be fun to go horse back riding. Little did we know it would be a 2-hour ordeal devoid of any fun, short of the few brief moments that we were left alone to enjoy the beautiful view of rolling hills in that part of Riverside. Sonja, our guide, was an unrelenting and uncharismatic overseer when she should have been purely a guide--someone to keep us from wandering off-trail or over the edge of a dropoff. Ignoring that we all weren't introduced to each other upon arrival, I knew something wasn't right when in the first 10 minutes of having met her she described herself as a trainer and asked us about our experience with horseriding lessons. I was embarrassed to say the least to see my fiancee and her father talked to like young students of horseriding. Having been 5 to 10 miles away from where we started, I was hesitant to speak up and give her a piece of my mind, to say nothing of the fact that there's quite a bit to keeping yourself comfortably atop a big horse. I wasn't about to make matters worse with 4 people on 4 horses. At no point did I see anything egregious in our approach to handling a horse, but even if it was, there are much more appropriate ways to manage beginners. With such an obvious lack of experience dealing with people in polite, friendly, and constructive ways, I strongly recommend horseback riding enthusiasts to look elsewhere.
