        Visiting NOLA and wanting a tattoo I found AArt and loved it. Jesse was very good and took my design and brought it to life. Very clean, I think she changed gloves 6 times. Making sure there was no cross contamination. It's almost a week and my design looks great and is healing fast, which is a great sign of superior work. I was very happy with the price. I had three different quotes and Aart was the best price. Jesse took care of my friend as well and we both love our work and are very happy with the tattoos we got. I only wish they were not so far away for my next.

        Big Disappointment

        After being recommended by a local resident, this seemed like the perfect place and the staff was cool and easygoing--and posted articles in the shop about the owner noted great respect for her within the industry. Beware, though! The tattoo lost all color in just a few days and no one seemed overly concerned. Shop around for better in New Orleans. Maybe the owner should be a little more hands on.

        poor tattoo

        I found my tattoo experience at Aart Accent to be a very unpleasant. After receiving my tattoo I found that the color quickly faded leaving it looking as if my buddy had done it in his garage rather than a "professional tattoo shop" which has been around for years. If I were to do it all over again I would have chosen to take my business else where, and would have not allowed them near me with a needle!

        I recently made a trip to this particular parlor to get some more work done and it was my girlfriend's first tat. The staff really made her feel comfortable despite my attempts to do otherwise. I give this place 5 stars because the history, the staff, and their knowledge. This shop is the first black-owned tattoo parlor in the nation.

        This tattoo parlor is very clean, the artists are knowledgeable and very friendly. I have had several tattoos done at this shop.
