I went to buy a juice on 12/17/2021. Before leaving the store I went to use a rest room to in the store. But after in 10 minutes when I left the store my car was not there. Upon asking to the people I found that my car has been towed away by the vons management. I went inside and spoke the the manager why my car was towed away, i also showed him he receipt of the juice. He was very rude and he said we have cameras to monitor. I asked him to check your cameras but he said I cannot check until we get permission from the corporate office. I am completely dissapointed by the manager attitude and not helping me while wife and my little son were in the children hospital waiting for me to pick them up and take home. He said you went there to hospital and parked the car at Avon’s I showed him the hospital parking pass. He was speechless and simply said I cannot help you. I had to pay $290 to get my car from the tow people.

I prefer the Von's in Atwater village but this one will do when your in the area. Starbucks inside just incase.

This is a pretty sizable store location, and I like their pharmacy (with its own waiting area) a lot. On the downside, a lot of vagrants shop here and there tend to be very long waits at the checkout aisles (sometimes only three cashiers working when the place is slammed).

Thanks to Vons, I have actually decided grocery shopping can be a pleasant task, rather than a frenetic ordeal. The store is neat and organized, but what's most impressive is the staff. I was asked if I needed any help at least 4 times on my last visit, and this has consistently been their style, which is much appreciated. If you are uncertain about buying something in the produce section, they even offer a sample if you wish.The prices seem reasonable, the selection is fine, and they offer an organic line of foods as well as all the processed stuff. You can grab some hot food to go, a sandwich, soup, or Starbucks. It's all there, and I like that they encourage people to use re-useable shopping bags instead of plastic, which I do. (They sell 'em at the registers.) I like to go early on weekend mornings when it's mellower and not like a shopping cart version of Bumper Cars. The only reason I might not give Vons a full 5 stars is that the Vons card "savings" seem a bit meager, but I suppose it might be more impressive if I had a family the size of The Brady Bunch.
