McCall's Meat & Fish

Los Feliz has been needing a local butcher and fishmonger for a long time, and these guys are fantastic. They're a husband and wife team with extensive experience in some of the best restaurants. They're super knowledgeable and get only the very best on a daily basis, shopping at the same places the top sushi purveyors do.


It's small, as is the selection, but what's there is always fantastic quality -- they only stock the best.
Ask them how to prepare anything, you can't go wrong!

Fine quality with excellent customer service. The staff is very friendly with tips on cooking or seasoning. If they don't have the cut you are looking for, ask them. If they can get it, they will bring it in for you.

So great to have a real butcher in the neighborhood. Yes, it can sometimes feel like a splurge, but especially when entertaining, it's good to have their quality meat. I just wish they had an even bigger selection. Would be nice if this place could be one-stop shopping for a dinner party.

Mccalls is the best. Love the fish, the homemade sausage and ground beef plus since they expanded I love the bakery and other goodies like quail eggs. Kids love this spot too - including pretzel rolls
