        Julie R. McCrary runs a very small pre-k group of children between the ages of 3-5. She believes in teaching with the heart in mind; learning life lessons and how to get along with others is as important to her as the necessary academic skills needed to enter kindergarten. She is a licensed TN elementary school teacher with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Prekindergarten children are at her favorite age to teach. Her pre-k curriculum follows the TN-Early Learning Standards which are aligned with the Common Core Standards for Kindergarten.
