Plato's Closet

I've previously sold to a Plato's closet in another state and they generally took every single one of my items and gave me what I felt was a fair price. I brought a bin of all name-brand items (and barely worn) to this location and they refused to take any of the items. They were rude and disrespectful as well after I sat in the store for over an hour because they told me I couldn't leave (in previous experiences I would drop clothes off on lunch and return after work to pick the clothes/money up). I was definitely turned off and will NOT be even trying to sell here again.

As the owner of the store I would love for you to give us another chance and check out our new friendly staff and positive atmosphere. As far as pricing goes for our items we are a Franchise and the concept is we price our items 70% off Retail and pay out in CASH 30-40% of that price to our customers. We hope to see you again soon.

If only you could give negative stars, then I would be giving an appropriate rating. The clothes took almost 8 hours to be looked at and the lady was very disrespectful over the phone and when I returned to get my clothes. I think it was a lady I couldn't tell by the mustache.

This place definetly does not give you the correct amount of money that your clothes are worth. I brought a whole bin of clothes and they said they would only accept mall brands. Then for two pairs of GUESS jeans and a beautiful shirt and dress from body central they only gave me $20.78. Not to mention they are very slow at working and they don't have the best attitudes. This is not a place where you want to sell your clothers because they will rob you

I only gave it a star bc I had to put at least one ! Took a large bag of clothes and shoes, they told me I had to drop off and come back..came to pick up they said they were only giving me 49 dollars so I asked to check the bin of stuff they were accepting to make sure I was not bein "low balled" even tho I thought so I took it. I get home and 3 pair of expensive shoes were gone ! That they did not pay for. I called them bc the store had jus closed and they say well it was in the bin nd there are no exchanges or returns . After I see my stuff missing ! So unprofessional , along with the attitudes!!

Plato's is crowded and difficult to shop in. I don't understand the hype. They turned away 3 potential sellers while I was there without even looking at their items. Didn't make me feel welcome at all.
