Overall
this is the most amazing place...

this is the most amazing place to eat!!! never had i had soo many options with so many frieldnyl faces. we asked if they could make a specialty pizza "Of Course!!!" is how they responded. everytime i come home from college, theis is my favorite place to go and eat. there's definitely a pizza here for everyone. my personal favorites happen to be the extra cheesy pizza, macaroni pizza, and the loaded baked potatoe. don't even get me started on the deserts!...DELICIOUS!!!...it's affordable, family friendly, and easily accessible. it is the best restaurant i have ever been to!!!!

Someone must've had a bad day

I'd just like to say stevi b's is one of the best pizza places I've ever been to, that I agree with all of the positive reviews here. I am appalled at how rude and distasteful momfromwi 's review was, completely bogus. Oh, and their potato pizza doesn't even have sour cream on it :p
Keep it up stevi b's!

I've been to Stevi B's Appleto...

I've been to Stevi B's Appleton a few times and love it - very happy to see one going up on the east side of Appleton! the baked potato pizza and chicken fajita pizza are great. Salad Bar is great - excellent ranch dressing!!! (I'm one of those who puts ranch on pizza - don't judge me...) As for the long review below - I kinda think that person needs a hug...

and just for the record - I LOVE BAC'Os!

Overall
You get what you pay for

Took my family to Stevi B's last night per the suggestion of a friend. It was crazy busy being that it was a Sunday and kids eat for 99 cents, drinks are extra. You pay up front and then there was the pizza bar to the right. The rest of the place was filled with seating--booths and tables-and then a game section at the end of the building where you could play with tokens and get prizes, etc. When we told the waitress we didn't want the tokens she gave us a strange look and said we were making her sad (???).

I was not at all impressed with this place. This is the kind of place where the super cheapskates eat, and unfortunately, in Appleton there is a lot of those-sorry. The pizza was not good. I tried the "loaded baked potato" pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. The potato pizza had too much of a sour cream flavor, and the cheeseburger one had lots of yellow mustard all over the crust. I like mustard on my burgers, but this was overkill The cheese, sausage, and pepperoni slices were just so-so, I've had better frozen pizza.

Then on to dessert. I tried a pizza dessert with cherry pie filling and it was inedible. The crust was completely doughy. I then tried tried the apple crisp pizza and it , again, was not even acceptable at low standards. The apple pie filling tasted fake-like the apples were partly dehydrated, and the crust tasted like cardboard.

There is also a salad bar, however I opted not to have salad so I cannot review that. I did, however notice they had "Baco's" bacon flavored bits, which are always a great selection of salt and partially dehydrated soybean oil to add to anyone's salad today!

We decided not to play the games because the game area was way busy, so I can't tell you how that was. There was only enough room for a few games though, at the end of the restaurant.

I would not recommend this place. If you want a pizza buffet go to lunch at Pizza Hut, or even better, my choice would be Sal's in Appleton where you can enjoy some real melt-in-your-mouth pizza by the slice, and treat your kids to Appleton's attractive downtown while watching the talented Sicilians of Sal's make their delicious pizzas.

If you want to play games and eat pizza, get back to basics and to to Chuck E. Cheese. Seriously, their pizza is better than Stevi B's and the kids activities and games (as far as I could see) are too.

Stevi B's is a place that is trying to do it all and to serve all food -but in pizza form - and trying to do it all on the cheap. Problem with this, is that there is nothing that is great, it's all less than mediocre, poor quality at best.

I don't see this as a restaurant that will be here forever. Just like when Sonic came to town, everyone was all excited for the cheap, big food selection and drive-in style. Truth is, the food at Sonic was bad as compared to what we already have here (Tom's and Culver's--we're spoiled by those two) and we have such a long winter and cool spring that no one wants to go to a drive thru. Now Sonic is out of business here. Unless Stevi B's ups it's game (get rid of the games and focus on the quality of pizza and ingredients), I don't see it being here that long either.

So if you like eating in a crowded restaurant with screaming kids all around, with tasteless pizza and mediocre games, this may just be your place.

Overall
Good pizza and value

This is a great place to take the family. There is a play area for the kids (with TV surveylance) and a gift shop to redeem tickets won.

The pizza is a pan crust

Overall
very good pizza + outstanding value + family friendly

It's very easy to find right next to the Home Depot and The Barbershop.

The restaurant is very new and clean, and the staff was exceedingly friendly and busy. There's a lot of tired, run-down restaurants out there, so having a new, locally owned one open up is a treat.

What you will get: a great value on pizza buffet style meal. There's a salad bar too for creating your own side-salad. I think the adult meal was $5.79 + $1.69 for a drink. Kids price was $3.59. That is very reasonable price point compared to other restaurants. (Think of what just a burger and fries meal costs... instead you can get a nice sit-down meal with a wide variety of pizzas. The kids' price is a better value than a Happy Meal because they really get to pick and choose their meal.)

I also think it's the new place for business lunches in that area. It's a well appointed restaurant. A group from the office going out together (or a boss buying lunch) can't go wrong there.

Soda is self-serve, but the staff offered a couple times to get refills for us. Very good service.

I know my pizza. Dough was very fresh, and topping varieties were good. The sausage was a good variety -- no skimping there. Pizzas were properly cheesed. Veggies were fresh.

Staff offered to bake one fresh just for our table if we wanted while going through the line.

Kids eat for 99 cents after 4pm on Sundays, which strikes me as the new "family night out" experience. There was a decent sized 'kids area' with arcade games that appear to pay out tickets for the redemption counter.

Overall
can't wait

I have been to Stevi B's in the south and can't wait until it is here in Appleton! I love the loaded baked potatoe pizza. It is the best pizza buffet I have encountered at a resonable price. The smores desert pizza hits the spot as well. My children enjoy the game room and we will definately be trying this location when it comes this fall!
