General Info: Established in 1938, Roundtown Elementary School serves more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade three. The school offers classes in English, social studies, science and math. It organizes sessions in music, physical education and language arts. Roundtown Elementary School provides Title I and special and gifted and talented education programs. The school maintains a library that features a selection of books and encyclopedias. In addition, it offers guidance counseling and after-school tutorial programs. Roundtown Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization. The school provides assistance with the development of academic, physical and social skills. It offers math enrichment classes. Roundtown Elementary School is governed by the Central York School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
