Village Pediatrics

I regretfully write this review while switching providers. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Scarponi, she is an amazing doctor, very kind, knowledgeable, supportive, everything you could ask for in a doctor. However, her staff is full of unprofessional individuals who have continued to fail at their job. Two out of the four appointments we have gone to were either never actually scheduled on the nurses end, even though I recieved a card with the specific date and time. Additionally, the other appointment was confirmed the day prior and upon arrival was canceled. Then the nurse tried to explain and say it was a lack of communication. My understanding is most practices can charge or even discontinue services if patients fail to make scheduled appointments. Most of you could contest that this is most inconvenient while getting a toddler ready, with one on the way and having to make a 20 minuet commute one way. Dr. Scarponi is worth that, but her failing staff are not. Sadly we're leaving this practice and would hope you evauate what is best for you. I truly hope that someone in the practice reads these reviews and makes some changes for future patients.
