Calvary Chapel the Way

I have been out of church and away from the Lord for a while. I was not interested in attending anywhere due to issues in other churches and subsequently being hurt. After much nagging by my loving Melody, we decided to drive out of our area to go to service. I didn’t mind as I was sure that we would get tiered of the commute to church (approx. 30 miles) and stop going. The first Sunday we managed to sneak in, unnoticed. As the service began I had an overwhelming feeling of home. I felt like we were home. For the first time in years of attending churches we felt like we had just walked into our home church. My fiancé has been begging me to get back into church, I have been uninterested for years. I turned to her and said, “Can we stay for the second service?” she gave me a confused stare. We stayed. I have been to the weekly services and the bible studies during the week. I have never felt so welcomed. Aside from all of the warm, loving people, I was more impressed with the Pastor. He made himself available after service. My biggest problem with church is the insincerity and fake nature of the Pastor and the people. This church could not be any more of a polar opposite. He is a genuine man. A very hard thing to find. If you are looking to find a church for you and your family, This is the place. I couldn’t be happier.

My family and I love this church.... It feels like home! Very friendly and warm people.
