Founded in 1946, Westchester Community College is one of the largest educational institutions in the United States. It serves more than 11,500 full- and part-time college credit students. The college provides over 50 associate and certificate programs. Westchester Community College offers classes in various subjects, such as math, science, and business and health education. The college organizes several sports activities, including soccer, basketball, golf, baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball and softball. It has a library that stocks books, periodicals and reference materials. In addition, the college operates the Virginia Marx Children s Center, which offers health care solutions.
