Fluff and Dry Grooming Salon

I brought my American Eskimo here today for the first time, I was extremely impressed on how well she did! She did a great job getting out all of his thick undercoat and trimmed perfectly! I'm super happy with how great he looks and for way cheaper than I normally pay even after a 34% tip. Handoff was compliant with the new covid 19 standards as well!

I almost feel like I neglect my dog over a certain time when it comes to grooming :( really not my intention....Debby does amazing work with Heidi each and every time....thank you I highly recommend her.

We've had been to several groomers in this area in the past - my dog has always been scared. But he really really LOVES to come to Debbys and he really loves her. We have to spell Debbys name or he'll stand, bark and cary on at the door until we leave for our appointment he'll also go and get his leash and stand at the door until we leave. He drages me into Debbys and then is all over her

When I picked up my beloved to...
Trust me, my toy poodle looked like a movie star ready for Hollywood or the show ring when I picked her up after she was groomed. I had to leave my sun glasses on as she glowed, glittered and sparkled so much from her excellent grooming! I had tried the other two groomers in the neighborhood a number of times before being "guided" to Fluff and Dry grooming Salon. Most important was the groomer's extra extra work in cleaning my dog's ears that these other groomers had apparently not bothered with much. I nearly cried when I saw the humongus amount of debris that had been left by them. My dog was saved from serious ear infection. Thank God for Debby! Also when I asked for clean paws I got really clean paws vs having over an eighth of an inch of fur left on paws by the other two groomers (perhaps so I would have to return sooner for grooming?) She had time to talk to me vs just robotically usher me out when I had questions. Also she tailored and priced her services according to what was actually needed and not needed which I gratefully appreciated. I'm a customer for life!

Great Groomer!

I was looking for a local place to take my 9 month old puppy for his first hair cut and I was so nervous for someone to do it! I found Fluff And Dry around the corner from where I lived and I walked over with my pup just to see what they had to offer. They were super accomodating, were able to squeeze me in right then and there, and were genuinely concerned with making sure they got the first cut right. I was very specific and they followed directions to a T! I am so grateful, they did such a great job and he was so happy when I went to pick him up. THANK YOU so much to Debby! We will be back!

• I have been going to Fluff and Dry for over a year. I love this salon. They treat my puppy as if she is their own. The salon is very clean. And my girl always comes home looking beautiful!! We go every 6 weeks. The other places in the are never could do such a good job as Debby. And I’m not going to go broke there having my dogs groomed every six weeks. Anyone who wants a top groomer and good price go to fluff and Dry.

wow! i was very impressed with the care and patience that Debby showed me when i dropped my boys(Dogs i call them my boys) off to be groomed. when i returned the boys were very happy. i told Debby that the boys can be difficult to groom, but she was ok with them.also i like it because she is from the old school yes i will be taking my boys there again.

I never write reviews but this experience is well worth a few minutes to praise this amazing groomer! From the moment she answered the phone when I called to schedule an appointment to when I picked up my pooch, Debby was by far the nicest, most pleasant person I've had the pleasure of meeting in my 2 years in North Greenbush. I'm a Southerner so a little politeness goes a long way with me. I was very happy to see how clean her space is. Even though my 4 lb. Maltese was terrified to be in there (she's a snob with severe separation anxiety), I was very relieved to see such a well kept place. Even though she’s not fancy like some of those high end high price places- her prices are not through the roof like the other places around here. I'm also very picky about how my dog is groomed. I've had her groomed at a few other places around here and was always very disappointed in the results, I've groomed her myself but I needed a professional to clean her up a little better than I can for a portrait session we have next week. Debby was very patient and listened to everything I wanted. Not only did she listen, but she actually did what I asked!!! (Also very uncommon in my experience.) My little pup looks beautiful! A few other people have mentioned that she was great and tops in her field I found her to be right on par - if not more affordable than other groomers in the area... especially when you consider how amazing she is! Thank you, Debby!!!

A neighborhood gem!!!

Fluff and Dry is like a home away from home for my 4-year-old rescue greyhound. Hands down the best thing about this shop, though, is the welcoming, friendly atmosphere and personal attention that Debby give’s each and every customer. It's a delightful place to spend time. This woman understands and adores animals and it shows. Fluff and Dry epitomizes everything that's good about small local businesses. You can really feel good about spending your money here, and your pets will benefit too. I wholeheartedly recommend it

I have been going to Fluff and Dry for about 3 years. She is a wonderful groomer who takes extra time to take good care of your beloved baby. My baby happens to be very fussy and doesn't like going to get her fur trimmed. However, she takes extra time to cut her hair with actually scissors since my dog doesn't like the electric razors. Although the hair can seem uneven sometimes, my dog is extremely difficult to cut. My dog always get the lamb cut and comes out looking perfect.

Debby's very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and did a great job bathing and grooming our Australian Shepherd. The prices were very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services

A Wonderful professional Grooming Service! Service is excellent. I know when leaving my Bichon Frise that he is atteneded to and well cared for. He is groomed exactly as requested and I would recommend this Grooming service only to those who really care about having the best service given to there pet. Debby has always been friendly and professional! It's important to me as an owner to know my dog is treated with the best attention and kindness, while in someone else's care. I wouldn't consider taking him any other place!!!! I have been going to Debby know for almost 2 yr and would not go to anyone else

Neither of mine are fond of being groomed, but Debby is very patient with them and always does an excellent job, at a very fair price. I have been taking my animals to Fluff And Dry for about 26 years (first, Max, then Auggie, then Daisy, then Oliver). I don’t care where I move in the area, my dogs HAVE to go to Fluff and Dry!



Why? Because the owner and operator is Debby Kuhn, and to me and my wife she is the Queen of Dogs as far as were concerned. She is a master groomer in our eyes, having been in the business for about 30 years. She has talent, and the love for the animals. But that isn’t the point. She is an excellent groomer: She knows her business and gets the job done properly! And if there are any idiosyncrasies (physical or mental) that an animal has, she know’s how to treat them! One of my dogs had no eyeballs, but Debby handled his grooming perfectly, and he was always happy to go to Fluff and Dry. Another of my dogs had very little sight, having congenital cataracts, but she, too, was always happy to go to Fluff And Dry. Debby is great in our book she’s the greatest there is out there



Debby is very experienced. I rarely have to go into any detail about what I want. Somehow, she just know’s. “Bath only.” Fine. “Just cut the hair on his face.” Fine. He comes back looking like he went to a fine Beverly Hills hair salon, with an artistic and functional cut! My dogs have never come back from Fluff and Dry looking less than gorgeous. When they come back from Fluff And Dry, I want to parade them around everywhere; they look like celebrities to me. And, of course, when they’re so clean and gorgeous, that’s the best time for a good cuddle!

I have been taking my four dogs to Fluff & dry for more than ten years and have never had anything less than a perfect experience. Debby is so careful with each dog that I even trusted them to groom my elderly Yorkie 19 yr although she had congestive heart and chronic kidney failure -- conditions which might preclude other groomers from accepting a dog. Another dog of mine, a skittish rescue when I brought him for the first time, has a complete personality change when he arrives at Fluff & Dry and becomes mellow and friendly to the other dogs and people (not the case elsewhere) . I can only attribute this to the zen-like sense of calm that permeates the environment there. He drags me out of the car when we arrive because he is so excited to arrive! Fluff & Dry gives equal attention to both pedigreed and mixed breed dogs; and the proprietor, Debby (a devoted multiple dog-owner herself), always goes the extra mile to accomodate her customers -- whether it be staying late for a pick up, staying there while your dog is being groomed, or handling a specific request. Five stars is insufficient for the exceptional service provided by Debby and her nurturing

WOW, what did you do to our dog? I almost didn’t recognize him. Roger (our poodle of five years) disappeared a couple of weeks ago. When he finally reappeared yesterday, he looked like he’d been through a war. My wife said she had heard about Fluff and Dry from a coworker and that you were the best around. I wasn’t optimistic about the outcome, but agreed Roger should probably be groomed professionally. When we walked in with Roger Debby greeted us and politely told us it was too busy to get Roger groomed that day and we could schedule an appointment for the following day. While we were looking at the schedule, Debby was looking at Roger. She insisted we leave Roger in her care that day...she would find a way to get him done. My wife just got home from picking Roger up, which brings me back to the beginning of my story....WOW, what did you do to our dog? HE LOOKS AMAZING! Even he knows how good he looks. No other place has ever done such an amazing job as you have
