Centegra Helath System

More and more the "Fast-growing Centegra Health System" is going down the drain. Everything is now automated - what happened to being able to talk to someone, even if it is to refill a prescription or leave a message for your doctor? Everyone who works at Centegra that I have encountered have always been top notch (except for Dr. Money Hungry Nager) and it's too bad that the boys in the Ivory tower, reaping in the big bucks don't give a crap.

It's a small hospital, esp for the Chicagoland area but the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. My whole family has been in the ER for one reason or other throughout the years. Had family members admitted into the ICU and other wards. My mother-in-law, who suffers from COPD and osteoporosis, broke her hip and they had her in the OR within 24 hours, which sounds like a long time but with all of her medical conditions and all the various doctors they had to consult first, that was actually very quick.

Many great people have been employed there. To bad the company is willing to jeopardize the well being of their patients for their own gain. Worked there for 12 plus years and have seen it go from a great caring place to greed and very poor leadership. I was fired because i voiced my opinion and concerns about something they are doing to break all patients privacy.. From the name of the patient to what test they are waiting on to their illness.. Now everyone in the hospital knows .. even the guy working the dock. shame on you Centegra.. I am now working for honest, loyal people , whom treat their employees with respect and dignity .. You leaders are a bunch of bullies .. Karma will take care of it for me.. :) You can take my job, but you will never break my pride in whom i am and what i stand for.. Amen

I lived in Woodstock for many years and had to use this hospital many times. I had on going problems that sent me into the ER and doctors. I would highly recomend not using this hospital, or any of their affiliates. I was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor last year, and as I have investigated, it should have been found many YEARS earlier, but due to centegra's less than average services I am now partaily paralized and lost my independence. I am not the only horror story either. PLEASE don't use this or any other hospitals with the name Centegra. I would give this buisness negative 5 stars but they ask for atleast one.
