Coast Dental

I read reviews for Coast from several sites that describe rude behavior from this office. I called because they are listed as a provider for my insurance. The receptionist was rude, so I did not schedule an appointment. I will pay more to go to my current provider that is even out of network.

Coast put a crown on a hot/cold painful tooth without root canal and later performed root canal through crown. Had unexplained pain again and again with issue showing up at gumline and ended up with apicoectomy to try to save the tooth. Pain continued, crown shattered and was replaced by Coast 10/2010 at no charge, but there was no real tooth left to work with so I asked about other options and following those instead of wasting Coast's money on the tooth which was very likely to fail. Was told they were warrantying their work by replacing the crown and would continue to do what was needed. Was finally told at that time that the root canal went bad when they went out the side of the tooth. The x-ray of root canal showing out side of tooth matches perfectly with area on x-ray showing problems. Pain came back again 12/2010 and was put on antibiotics, but was told on 1/5/2011 that Coast was no longer responsible for this and recommended extraction and bridge/implant. Coast is not willing to pay for their mistake/give credit for the work which was done wrong and is causing me to loose tooth.
