Kabuki Japanese Restaurant

I'm really looking forward to my next visit since my most recent trip was amazing. The management here is really professional and responsive, they guarantee that your visit will exceed all expectations. Whether for dine-in or take-out, the experience is superb across-the-board. I feel their service, however, is absolutely wonderful and is as quick as can be, and that makes a huge difference when added to the great tasting sushi and food. I worked with Michelle, and she brightened up the day with such a welcoming and amicable demeanor. She went way out of her way to totally familiarize me with all of their outstanding offerings. As I'm not by any means some kind of a sushi expert, her knowledge about what may be best was a great help during my visit and made it better. Parking is super convenient and plentiful, with some spots on Ventura should they be needed. The entire place, especially the sushi bar, has an amazing ambiance. I am not surprised at all when I see people saying they've been coming here for decades. The samples you're able to get before ordering are a really great idea, a win-win so you don't order a full meal of something that may not be the best fit for your tastes. I can't wait to check out the other Kabuki locations too, everything was so good, the whole team was awesome, no complaints from me at all.

I love this place cause they have great prices, the sushi tastes fresh, and the rolls are very filling. Also, they have a lot of choices for those that don't want sushi: salad, soup, rice dishes, dessert, etc. I love their happy hour prices before 6 pm... $2.95 for a California roll, $1.95 saki and beer. What a great deal...

When it comes to the service is usually disappointing. I've been to 3 of their locations, and there are service problems so I think it may be a systematic problem. If you are willing to overlook the service, you'll enjoy it.

So my friends like Kabuki, i on the other hand don't. Everytime i tell my self to give them another chance im always disappointed. The servers are always in a rush to take your order but for some reason the food takes forever to come. the last time we went, we waited about 20 minutes tell she comes to get our drink orders. and why are they so cheap with the spicy mayo and the eal sauce?????

Great sushi as well as their boat dinners. The prices are very reasonable (I love their 1/2 price sushi specials!). It is always packed but the wait is never long.
