Eastside Dog Training

The school location closed and refused to issue refunds for the classes that were not held due to Covid regulations. Explained it by having to apply an admin fee and sending a brochure for the classes instead. Will not be returning or recommending if the school survives. Aside from this, not very impressed by Karen and her roughness to people and dogs.

I have taken both private lessons and classes and I have really enjoyed working with Karen! She is great at working with you at your level in classes. She gets down to business right away and makes the classes fun! My puppy has learned so much, so quickly. We get compliments all the time on how well behaved she is and she is only 12 weeks old. Her prices are also very reasonable and comparable to places like Petsmart but you get much better quality with Karen.



The only downside is that each of her classes are only offered on one night of the week so if you can't make it that night then you have to pick a different class. She is great at working with you at whatever level you are at in any class though so I don't feel that this is enough to give anything less than 5 stars. I hope to take many more classes with her!

I have taken my other 2 dogs to Karen over the past 10+ years, when she taught at Positive Dog Training. When I adopted my new dog, of course I wanted to go to Karen at PDT! OH NO! She was no longer there (I think she'd been there for over 20 years!) No one there would tell me why or where she went so I started surfing online -- just hoping!

I found her!!!! Eastside Dog Training!

SO glad she started her own school! I would be lost without her knowledge, support, and genuine love of dogs and their people! She SO knows her stuff and treats everyone like we're her favorites!

Now I know where to send all my friends!! S'long PDT, HELLO Eastside Dog Training!
