I took my 2003 Ford F150 to this shop for front end work. Met Rusty who is their shop manager. He told me they would do a complete shake down on the front end and call me with the results. About 1.5 hours later the call came. I needed a new driver side hub , idler arm ,pit man arm ,steering idler arm,steering center link. Then new front brake disc ,pads, ( complete front brake job )and u-joints (2) replaced on driveshaft. .I then asked how much to add a tune up since it had been a while. Rusty quoted me a price of $2200.00 to complete all the work. Thought that was high but the reviews for the shop were good and thinking that they have covered all my front end issues I said let's do it plus They give you a loaner car for "free". Well three days later I pick up the truck and pay the $2200.00 dollars. I had bad tires on the front so on the bill under recommendation was new tires and a front end alignment . So two days later I had tires put on and went back to the shop for the front end alignment. I was waiting for about 1 hour when Rusty came to the waiting room and told me that I needed front end lower ball joints that cost another $500.00. I was livid ! I told him I just spent $2200.00 and thought everything was repaired as you did the (Shake Down ) on it and that should have been caught and addressed at the time you gave me the estimate. I would not recommend this place to have your auto repaired...unless you have a bottomless amount of money !!!!!

In June of this year I was moving to Northern California from the Seattle area, driving my 92 Dodge van and pulling a U-Haul trailer and my van was overheating the whole way. I ended up stopping in Woodburn and was lucky enough to find Woodburn Automotive. From the first moment I was dealt with honestly and fairly, explaining my situation and the trouble I was having. To make a very long story short, I ended up leaving my van and proceeding to my new job in a U-Haul truck. After almost 4 months I finally made arrangements to have the van delivered to me in Folsom, east of Sacramento, and the good folks at Woodburn Auto motive kept my van safe and secure and never charged me a dime for storage. Traveling 800 miles to start a new job with limited resources, I could have been totally taken advantage of by a dishonest repair shop but instead I received the tops in customer service. I highly recommend Woodburn Automotive to anyone in that area or to any travellers up or down I-5 who run into trouble.
