General Info: Founded in 1979, Great Lakes Rubber Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of MAC Valves. Located in Wixom, Mich., it is a full-service, custom rubber molding company that produces thermoset and thermoplastic parts. It manufactures various products, such as pneumatic valve seals, static seals for hydraulic systems, nonmarking rollers and belts, and oil- and fuel-resistant gaskets. Its specialties include rubber testing, prototyping, custom mixing, bonding of rubber to other materials and form grinding. Its services include rubber testing, in-time delivery and assembly. It uses quality processes, such as process failure mode and effects analysis and quality function deployment in the development of product quality plans.
