Hill Magnet School serves students in grades six through eight. It focuses on visual and performing arts, computer technology and extracurricular programs. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science and math. It offers a character education program that imparts values of responsibility, respect, self discipline, integrity, perseverance and courage to students. The school s library and media center stocks a range of reading and reference materials, as well as offers an accelerated reader program. Its media center actively supports staff and student development through training sessions, student activities and contests. The school involves students in various extracurricular activities, such as student council, Battle of the Books, tutoring, and Spanish, dance, pep and birthday clubs. Located in Winston-Salem, N.C., Hill Magnet School is a part of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
