Hands down, the BEST preschool around. The staff is amazing! My daughter attended this school for 3 years and felt nothing love and encouragement the entire time. This school provided her with a great head start and she is excelling above other children in her age group.

If you can go somewhere, anywh...

If you can go anywhere else, do it.

The information I was provided was inaccurate. My son was enrolled in the pre-k program for ages 3-5, and that was what I was paying for tuition. Later I was told he was enrolled in the toddler program, even though it didn't match my tuition or what I had been given in writing.

The written schedule I was given was a misrepresentation of the children's daily routine. I was following the pre-K schedule that matched my son's age and my tuition, since that was in the information I received, but my son was being served lunch at 11 a.m. [didn't match any of the schedules] and was napping at 11:30 a.m., not 1 p.m. as indicated. Had I been aware of the actual schedule, which was not what I was given, I would have never enrolled my son.

This then becomes a question of what was he doing? He was eating lunch when he was supposed to be involved in creative play or math and science exploration. He was resting when it was supposed to be lunch/recess. When was he learning? Was nap time 3 hours instead of the 1 1/2 that I was told?

I had to pay $100 before I was given the packet of information to take home and review. This was the norm because, according to them, it was a waste of paper to hand out packets to people who might not enroll their children. It's hard to know if you want to enroll your child without written information, but then that information wasn't accurate anyway. Slight catch 22.

The facility has no website and no email contacts. I felt in the dark and had no idea what my son was doing. If the schedule had changed, I was not provided a written document indicating that, nor was I told by anyone, although that was denied by staff.

The other real safety issue to me was the fact that the children were outside from 3 p.m. until parental pick-up. All belongings were brought outside and they were not allowed back in the rooms. When I asked if this was a year-round situation, I was told yes "unless it was raining or 103 degrees." I was not comfortable with my son having to be outside in the afternoon heat and sun without an option to stay in the room. Sometimes 90 degrees is too hot for kids to be outside, but there was no shift in the schedule to accommodate the heat of summer. Again, I was told that 103 degrees was not what was said to me, that I had been told that kids stayed in if it was in "the upper degrees." Not true. Why would make up a number like 103?

My son was overheated when I would pick him up and would subsequently melt down on the way home, crying for 15+ minutes, completely unlike him. On his last day there, when he fought me about going and told me that "it wasn't good for him," I knew there was something very wrong. My son has never been clingy and doesn't have crying jags that last more than a couple of minutes. This was not normal. Three weeks and only 6 days of actual attendance was all it took to realize this was not a good fit. Had I not picked up my son early one day, I would have never been aware of the drastic difference between what I had been told and what was actually happening.

The message: Parents beware and perform due diligence. What you're given in writing is not necessarily what goes on. This facility is more interested in rules and money than in clear communication about their program. Administration was uninterested in why I was leaving, just the money owed for tuition. It may be a perfect fit for some, but it was an awful experience for me and my son.

Great Preschool

I absolutely love this pre-school.

I had a difficult time going back to work and leaving my little girl, however, they instantly made me feel at ease. The teachers have been a huge blessing and resource to me and my husband.

I know that my daughter is safe and well cared for while I am at work. The teachers are always updating me on her development, her moods, her behaviors, and temperament. They have offered numerous helpful suggestions. I love the activities that they do with her class, especially the crafts.

The owners are great women, and are setting a great example to the kids at this school. They love these kids.

I highly recommend this preschool.

Safe, happy environment. Fantastic teachers, small class sizes. They provide healthy food for the kids and give them plenty of playtime to grow strong. They potty train the kids, which is an enormous help! I have both my children in there and am completely happy!

Awesome preschool

My child has been at this preschool since she was an infant. She will now be graduating from their Kindergarten program. Academically, she is above average in all areas. I accredit this to the teachers and curriculum of this school. Sadley, I must say that I know of the parent that left the negative comment. Like any other business, Payment is expected when services are rendered! Unfortunately, people feel that they can leave negative and inaccurate information when they are unable to take care of their responsibilities financially. This school is awesome!

EWWWWW

This school and the administration staff, ONLY care about money and who they're bringing in. They do not care if teachers are out of ratio, or the children are in combined classrooms when they are NOT suppose to.CAROL,VALORIE and "D" (stands for dum#**) U SUCK. I wouldnt wish this school on my dog IF I had one. Too bad they do not have a negative score for the rating, or I would have given that score.

Wonderful

I can't believe that someone would rate this school as being a bad preschool. I have a 4yr old and a toddler attending this preschool. I have had nothing but excellant reports from other parents who's children attend wishing well. The staff are very friendly, as well as the administration staff. My family and I highly recommend this preschool to anyone that is looking for a happy, friendly & safe preschool. We love you Wishing Well Preschool!
