General Info: Cattermole Funeral Home was founded in 1902 by Robert Cattermole, a Civil War vertaran as well as a wood craftsman, cabinetmaker and sawmill owner. His son Leland became his partner and the second generation to own and operate the funeral home. Leland's daughter, Anna Mae Millman attended mortuary school during WWII and became the third generation owner when Leland retired in 1957. Her son Jeff Millman and his wife Cheryl purchased the business when Anna Mae retired in 1985. They sold the business in 2012 to a small corporation, in 2017 the corporation sold to the business to Jeff Dorothy bringing the Funeral Home back to a locally owned and operated business. You still find Jeff Millman active in the Funeral home today.
