        Overall

        Southern food in a fast food environment. Bbq is great, and the food is a good value. Always friendly and attentive service. Plain, clean interior, with '50s music in the background. Great iced tea.

        Southern Hospitality at its best! Great Bar-B-Q chicken

        I just moved to Wilming NC from Ohio and a freind recommend Smithfield and I have to say that i was very impressed with the service and knew this place was different because as soon as i walked to the door it was open for me by a pleasent employee with a warm smile and freindly greating . Being a first time customer the manager was more than curtious and went out of his way to make sure I was extremly satisfied and believe me I was blown away by how freindly everyone was. The food was great i had the bar-b-q chicken it had it own sweet tangy sauce as well as the regular fried chicken which was tender and juicy had a crispy
        coating. I also had the potato salad which was the best I ever had. The hush pupies were fried to perfection and Smithfields sweet tea is the best I've had and you can buy it by the gallon or cup.
        I would recommend this place to everyone!
        I am going to be a life long customer and cant wait to try the shrimp!
