Port City Urgent Care and Family Practice

Truly fantastic,professional,and caring staff...my family and I have been here multiple times and every time its a great experience. I would recommend this place both as a family practice and an urgent care to anyone. Also they have very reasonable rates for anyone who does not have insurance. From the front staff to the back staff and all of the providers there- these guys have it together! I work in the medical field so I am very critical of medical offices and I honestly say...top notch service guys....great job!

One of the things I noticed first at PCUC was the cleanliness. The waiting room and patient areas were immaculate! The Dr. who took care of me provided me with the information and care I needed to get better, while not talking down to me like I was a toddler. Would recommend PCUC to anyone in Wilmington looking for urgent care.

I HIGHLY recommend this UC over any other in Wilmington! You are in and out in less than an hour! Very friendly, concerned & compassionate staff. No long wait in lobby, nor a long wait in the room. Even called my pharmacy to order my RX to where I only had to pick it up and then even gave me a follow-up call - not always - but they do when they can. And, being a religious nut job (follower of Christ) myself - I was having a stressful time in my life - shared it with the dr and he offered to pray with me - so that spoke volumes to me along with everything else I mentioned!!!

Went into port city urgent care yesterday to be seen. The PA took his time with me to ask questions and then sent me to the emergency room at new hanover. After staying in the ER until 3 am, I was told to make an appointment with the same endocrinologist recommended to me by the PA at Port city urgent care. I tried making an appointment but was told I was not allowed to without a referral. So I called PCUC around 11am, was told the referral would be sent today with a follow up phone call afterwards. Four hours later... Still no word. When I called back to see what was going on, a man answered the phone and was very rude to me and ended up making me cry. He said it would have to wait until next week sometime. I tried explaining to him that the doctor in the ER told me it was very important that I get an appointment TODAY, seeing as I need a biopsy done. But he continued to get an attitude with me and being very rude. Oh and if the PA acts concerned about you and gets your number "saying he's going to check up on you once you're in the ER,"



Ha, not a chance of that happening. They act like they care, but once you're out the door they could care less. I will never be going back here for treatment and I advise the same to you. Just very rude and incompetent people working in this office that doesn't care about the well being of the patient. If i could give them no stars I would.

Now I'm stuck in a severe amount of pain, very irritated, but nothing can be done to help me because they're too lazy to get anything accomplished at this office. Like I said, they don't care at all about the well being of their patients.

Everyone there is super nice and they actually listen to you! The best part was I was having problems with my pharmacist and what my insurance would cover; so, I called the dr. Office back and they called the pharmacist and pushed him to get things moving and too look for other options. I have never had a doctor office help me the way they did!

From the front desk, the cleanliness, to the clinical staff what a great place! The providers actually care, I got a call at home to check on me! Worth the visit for urgent care or family practice. I know my family will be going to Port City!

I was seen at PCUC&FP on Sunday 8-5-2012, for a Workman's Compensation injury, by Clint David Price, P.A. I was so impressed by the care and concern given me that I am seriously considering making them my primary doctor. Mr. Price made me feel as if I was the most important patient he had seen all day, It has always been my experience that in an Urgent Patient situation, I am treated as if I'm just wasting their "oh so valuable time". My work injury was almost 2 months ago and yet my WC provider has still not scheduled me with the proper medical provider, so in the mean time, I'm not only am convinced that the longer the wait the more damage I am doing but I've also been left in limbo with no consideration for the pain that I am in...which is getting worse everyday. Clint Price not only performed tests that have never been conducted to conclude what areas are the worst, he has also offered to assist me to the best of his ability to help me get an appointment with a specialist, which is so much more than anyone I've spoke to regarding my injury has yet to do. I have 100% confidence in Clint's ability to treat me. Like most people I cannot afford to be out of work even though I know this is only worsening my condition, but we do what we must to survive, right? So basically, at this time I'm squeaking through with some at home exercises and pain medication. So I'd like to take this opportunity to sat that 1) When asked I will recommend Clint Price, P.A. and PCUC&FP and 2) I'd like to personally thank Clint Price P.A. for his sympathetic and empathetic care of me and to let you know that you are doing a FANTASTIC job...Thank you for all that you do!
