The Learning Center at Calvary

I love this place! The staff is so nice!

Staff is friendly. Program prepares children for future school. Food is very good. Seems like a happy place to spend the day. I wish they had a more modern building, but the people are good and that's the most important thing.

I have had a very positive experience with the Learning Center at Calvary. My child is happy to go there. His teacher is very energetic and always has good things to say. I like the fact that they teach skills and are preparing him for kindergarten. I have attended the student shows and have interacted with many other happy parents. I also liked the fact that they made every attempt to stay open during bad weather days this past winter when many other day cares closed.



They do many educational programs like trips to local museums and swimming at a local pool in the summer. They are doing a kids cooking class this Spring.



I read what a previous poster wrote on here and I totally disagree. I think that person must have been chronically late to pick her child up and then got upset when the staff followed the rules.



The Learning Center is worth a look!

The learning center at Calvary has teachers and an assistant director who share their negative experiences re: the parents to one another. They talk about the parents right in front of the children. The assistant director will call child protective services even if a parent calls the center to inform them that they are running late. Some of the staff pick on the children for not knowing how to tie their shoes. Some of the staff will not greet you when you drop your child off to school.
