Smooth Secrets

As a Salon & Spa owner for 19 years, we have always referred our clients to Smooth Secrets for hair removal. Having once owned a laser machine in our spa, the results were so disappointing, we got rid of it! We found that the hot laser machine was damaging to the skin and causing burns. Further investigation and experience showed us that lasers can cause a pre-cancerous mole to turn cancerous! One client returned with such unsightly marks on her legs (AND this is a permanent pigmentation)! I was shocked at how dangerous laser for hair removal can be AND in 90% of the clients we treated, the hair grew back. It was not worth our reputation. Mary is experienced and professional and an excellent electrologist. Yes, I would refer her to my mother & my best friend!

If you are thinking about having electrolysis treatments, I would highly recommend a true professional and this is the ONE! I had a real problem with hair growth on my chin, upper lip (which wasn't too severe), and the front and sides of my throat, and sideburn areas. Mary was the only one who returned my call and answered all my questions on the phone. She was very matter of fact about it and made me feel better and not to be so embarassed. I got an appointment in a day or two. She went over everything about how hair grows in cycles, and even tho it does take time to get rid of everything, I was persistent and now it's just about over-I just go for a touch up every 6 or 8 weeks or so. I had been to other offices, but this one was the cleanest and clinical, but not like an O.R. Very nice. Yes, it hurts somewhat, but there are nummers that can be used on the area and it helps alot. I would certainly recommend this clinic for electrolysis!
