Kid's World Learning Ctr

Kids World Learning Center is a wonderful childcare center. The teachers truly care about the children and the Director - Melinda Scardino has truly made a difference in my baby's life. My son started when he was 1 and Has loved it. He is 2 now and I can tell that the education and love that he gets has made a huge difference. He is confident and speaking very well and I owe it all to this amazing school! I am a working mom and it is hard enough to leave your child while you go to work but I know mine is is good hands. The classroom is very clean and I have never seen anything like what the review below says. I have seen the teachers work very hard to keep a clean room and the 2 year old room is spotless! Ms. T and Ms. Mary are amazing teachers! I highly recommend Kids World Learning Center.

This facility encourages emotional development as well as educational learning. I love that they have two teachers in the class. I also love that they do so many activities in the classroom. My son's folder is constantly full of the work that he has done throughout the day. I also love that his teachers fill out a report to let me know how his day has been and what he has worked on. The staff is always upbeat and seems to really have a passion for what they do. The administration seems to be very hands on as well. They are always in and out of the classrooms giving the teachers support. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants a safe learning environment for their children to grow.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it here. I have both my sons in the learning program at Kids World and I would never send them anywhere else. This is not a daycare or babysitting center. I am a very protective parent, and sometimes have very specific directions for the teachers to follow for my children. They are always very understanding and always communicate with how they are doing. They have a special curriculum that each age group follows to ensure that they are constantly learning. The owner and director organizes events regularly so that the parents can see what the children have been doing such as A Thanksgiving Play where the children do a re-enactment which is followed by a "Thanksgiving" lunch. I am very excited about the Breakfast with Santa that they are holding this year because my oldest son will be able to participate and sing in the program. I can not say enough about his center, it is a great safe place for children to learn and develop.

This facility refuses to work with children who have special needs unless they have been there since birth. The owner was very rude and condescending about it. I was ridiculed for not putting my child in daycare during infancy. I felt like no one listened to me when I let them know that my child needed a little extra help with certain things. I filled out all the paperwork, which they barely even looked at. They told me they had no previous knowledge of my child's condition and was kicked out after 3 days. The "bad" behavior that the teacher complained about was nothing more than a typical behavior of a child in a new environment. Most of the employees there are very young and do not understand what it's like to have children and the daily struggles of being a mother. My child took off a couple of times and almost went out the front door. All that staff and no real security. They give their door code out to anyone and everyone. So anyone can walk in there. These people make everything sound so great in the beginning, but it all went downhill in a matter of days. I felt like I made a great decision in enrolling my child. I thought that this is what he needed to help him succeed. I held out in bringing my child to daycare because I thought I was doing the right thing by protecting him. Daycare is exactly like I thought it would be. It is just as degrading as it was when I was a child. I understand that this facility has the right to refuse service to anyone, but this was handled with such insensitivity. Our tuition check was given to us the very same day we were having a meeting. Nothing like being told that your child is a liability. Good riddance.

I suggest not letting your children come here. The lady in the front, Malinda, is terrible to her parents and workers. Not only that, but some of the teachers there, I've seen yank the kids, embarrass them by constantly yelling. Refusing them water. Don't get me wrong, there are some teachers that are doing a great job.



A few times I sat in lunch with the kids, and every single time, their milk glasses weren't clean. There was a thick line of leftover milk, and they smelled horrible, it made me gag.



Another thing is, I saw teachers being switched from class to class to class. You're supposed to set roots for children. Not switch things around for them over and over.



If you want your child being abused and possibly poisoned, go ahead and take them there. But if you don't, there are way better child care services, and most of them are much cheaper then here. Thank you.
