Natchaug Elementary School has been granted accreditation and full membership in the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in Connecticut. It is a professional school with the University of Connecticut Neag School of Education, as well as the home of an after-school tutoring program that is staffed by the students of the University of Connecticut. The school has partnerships with Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic Public Library, and Big Brother/Big Sister Program. It operates the Family Resource Center and a parent-teacher organization that sponsors a variety of fundraising events. Natchaug Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade four. It operates a library and offers a range of special education programs for students with disabilities. The school also provides a variety of food and health services, as well as bilingual programs. Its academic curriculum includes math, reading, and health and physical education. Natchaug Elementary School is governed by Windham Public Schools.
