        Gateway-Longview is a nonprofit organization that provides care, treatment, education and supportive services. The supervised independent living help the youth of ages 16 to 21 make the transition from a residential setting, group home and foster care to living on their own.The mother and baby supervised independent living gives young mothers an opportunity to learn self-sufficiency skills and effective parenting techniques. Its Niagara Day Care provides day care and early childhood education programs for families in Erie County,N.J. The preventive respite services keep families together and provides temporary relief through short-term placement, support and counseling in times of acute stress. Established in 1890, Gateway-Longview is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
