Horrible Experience! "If I refunded every customer who decided they didn't like their dress, as a small business owner I would be out of business quickly." -Bridals by D. We recently had a horrible experience with Bridals by D in Williamsville where, long story short, my mother ordered a dress for my wedding that the manufacturer had in the warehouse and when it came in it was a totally different color (bright gold vs champagne) and the dress itself didn't look like the picture. After several attempts to try and return, the owner refused to let us return the dress. She treated us very poorly and I do not want this to happen to anyone else!

For such an upscale shop, these women don't know a thing about manners, decency, or professionalism. Upon arriving for my appointment I was rudely lectured about the time it takes to get a dress in and told that I was irresponsible for waiting so long to get a dress (I got engaged in February and will marry in August). Once the consultant found out my price point she didn't bother to lift more than a finger during the appointment-merely taking dresses off the hanger and handing them to me to step into them. The seamstress, Rosa, meddled in the appointment pulling mermaid dress after mermaid dress no matter how many times I said I did not like the style. The consultant and Rosa loudly exchanged words about my size, my price point, and my style. Rosa also made rude comments while I was trying to see if a Japanese obi (which I had brought in) would compliment any of the dresses I was considering: "What are you marrying a Japanese?", "Why don't you just wear a kimono then?" "Why not just wear a normal wedding dress?" This place was atrocious and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Found a dress that I loved here... but Elaine was so rude and condescending that I chose not to give Bridals by 'D' my business. I should not have to be talked down to while shopping for one of the biggest days of my life. I had to go to the designer to find a photo of the dress just to show my out-of-town maid of honor and bridesmaids. When I called to ask what the style number was I was told that "You tried the dress on, you know what it looks like. You should be able to find it." I understand not being able to take photos unless you're purchasing it. But to be so rude over a style number. I found the dress and showed it to my bridesmaids who all liked it. Unfortunately, no other store in the area carries that line. Ending up finding a dress I liked ten times more at Blissett's in Medina. The staff there are so fun and were really helpful!! No rudeness there! :)

I wish I could give this place 10stars! I have had a hard time finding "The Dress" and these ladies made me feel at ease and comfortable and relaxed at a time when I was starting to freak out. They spent an enormous amount of time with me, helping me narrow things down to the best and most flattering look. I can not possibly say enough great things about this place. I have been all over New York and Pennsylvania dress shopping and nothing has come close to the greatness that is Bridals by D. The seamstress really knows her stuff and Betty provided me with the best customer service. I ended up falling in love with a dress from a line they don't carry and the manager even went out of her way to get the dress in for me, since I really wanted to purchase my gown from them. I couldn't even imagine having to get such an important dress from anyone else. I would definitely recommend stopping in. They have a great selection of beautiful dresses and you won't find a better place or more trustworthy people to help you with such an important decision.

They are unprofessional and insulting! They take your money and don't follow through with quality service. The bash customers in front of other customers....all things I saw when I was fitted for my dress for my sisters wedding! I contacted the BBB along with other customers prior to my complaint who said the same thing!
