Brookshire Inn & Golf Course

Brookshire is a perfect location to have a ceremony and reception. My fiance and I looked at several facilities but decided on Brookshire because of the beautiful view and how comfortabe Mary Anne made use feel. We wanted an experience that was different than most wedding receptions we had been to. Mary Anne worked with our ideas and even suggested a few ideas that we did not think of.



We had 150 guests at our ceremony/reception. We received so many complimentsfrom our guests. It was nice to know that they enjoyed our reception as much as we did. I am so glad that we choose the Brookshire.

I just got on this site to look up Brookshire's phone number and just read the review that was posted. Wow... that was not what we experienced with Mary Ann and the entire Brookshire staff. From the beginning Mary Ann took time with us to help us plan the day that I had dreamed of. All of the planning and effort definetly payed off as we had the most beautiful reception.



The food was delicious, the staff was effecient and courtous and the grounds were gorgeous. I could not have been more pleased. We heard several comments from our guests what a beautiful spot it was to have a reception. We picked the right person to help us plan our reception with Mary Ann and the Brookshire could not have been a more ideal spot.

My fiance and I decided on the brookshire because they seemed to have a reasonably priced menu for our wedding reception. However, the first time and everytime we met with Mary Ann, the banquet manager, we walked out amazed at how inconsiderate and rude they were. Even though we were her guests/paying customers and about to fork out a decent amount of money, she could care less about what we wanted. Once, we needed to discuss some things with her to continue on with our plans and she would not return our emails so we just showed up. She told us she could only talk for a second because another couple was coming in in about five minutes. We hurried but hung around taking measurements and planning for about 25 minutes, and no one showed up for her "meeting." It is a nice hall for a small number of people but it is not a five star hotel, which she continued to try to compare it to. It was/is a horrible experience. We started searching too late for another location but could not find a nice place in the area for june. If I could though, I would have paid more to have dealt with a more friendly staff.
