Missler's IGA

Nice store but deli women were very rude on 9/11/2014.

Let me start by saying that my mother is 68 soon to be 69 years old. On 11/11/11 she went into Misslers IGA to get some groceries. Mind you she had major hernia surgery the previous week. The doctor told her she was absolutely not allowed to lift anything but could drive the 8 miles to Willard so she decided to get some groceries. While in the store she saw a ham she wanted and asked the woman at the meat display case to lift it into her cart and explained why. This woman replied "You have employees you pay why didn't you bring one of them to do it." Needless to say she did not get the ham. Then when she went to check out she asked for some help taking her groceries out to her car and again explained why. She was promptly told that their bagger was busy, so she took her own groceries out to her car. Well now she is back on bed rest with internal bleeding. Totally unacceptable behavior. My mother is a local business owner and always tried to support other local businesses, but I have told her she needs to start driving to Tiffin and shop at Kroger's, I guarantee she will not be treated that way there. I have talked to the owner and I can only hope he takes care of this situation. I can only imagine that if someone treated his mother this way he would be outraged also. I do know that if any of my employees treated one of my customers this way i would escort them out the door!
