Peppertree Apartments

Apartments and amenities are more than adequate. Personnell and staff friendly and courteous. HOWEVER, there is little or NO enforcement of pet sanitation rules. In four monthe here I have stepped on 4 "land mines" left by irresponsible dog owners. I chose not to complain too loudly until I observed a dog leave a deposit on the sidewalk and its owner just walked away!

The leasing manager is not interested in leasing. I wanted info on rates etc but she was too busy texting on her phone. I am now happily NOT living there.

I would give this apartment a zero star rating if it was optional. The manager Michelle, is a lying HORRIBLE PERSON. She has called my phone personally and left voicemails starting with, " i'm not about to play phone tag with you so I'm going to make this short." Umm Who do you think you are?? They do not take care of their apartments whatsoever. The bedrooms and the living room's do not have lights so if you want to see during the dark you need to buy a lamp. The bedrooms state freezing during the winter and hot during the summer. Their excuse, it's how the building was made. I pay over $800 a month for a horrible place to live. They will lie to you up and down and remain very friendly until you sign that lease. Once the lease is signed it you are nothing in they will not help you with anything. They have entered my house without approval while I was at work. Once again beware and do not live here!!!

I have lived here just short of 6 months and I absolutely love it! The complex is a very pet and people welcoming place. The management and the maintenance staff are always ready to help you with any issues you may have. My worry was finding a nice apt. that would accept my two dogs. Once I found PepperTree, I knew I had found where I wanted to call home. The only issue here is that people are too lazy to pick up after their dogs. But that is not the fault of the management. They cannot correct what they do not see happen. The Apts. are beautiful, as are the grounds and the pool and clubhouse. Most of my neighbors that I have met are very nice. I have no complaints about noise because there isn't really any noise to complain about. If you are considering an apt. here, I don't think you would be disappointed.

I actually live in PepperTree Apartments. I absolutely regret signing the lease. If you are considering moving in, PLEASE RUN now!! I have been here a few months, and I have only had issues. The police are always out here for domestic violence issues. There is also a really bad issue with black snakes out here. So you really have to watch where you and your kids are stepping. You can hear everything the person is doing in the apartment above you. Dogs barking uncontrollably all throughout the night and early in the morning. You can literally hear every step you the person above you takes. Management refuses to do anything about it. I have had to go as far as filing a police report, becuase management refused to do anything. The dogs are allowed to poop everywhere, the smell is horrible. They also allow viscious breeds out here, which is very dangerous if you have kids. With the price of the rent here, I urge anyone who is considering moving in, choose a house instead!!!!!! Moving here was the worse decision I could have made!!!! Dont make the same mistake!!!
