        Rated 9/9.5/10 By Good Sam. Horspitality is a unique experience. As you enter our Western Arch Entrance you can feel the Old West come over you. Look out at the mountains that surround the park. As you drop down into the Hassayampa River Valley observe the giant palm trees and the large Mulberry trees which shade the sites. Beyond are very large Cottonwood Trees located in the stable area. Our guests enjoy many activities including Bingo, card nights, game nights, ATV Rides, horse rides into miles of desert/mountain landscapes. Pot luck and park dinners and breakfasts as well as impromptu events. Horseshoe contests and other outdoor games. Crafts, coffee and donuts on Saturdays in season. You can be busy all the time or just relax and watch the action. It is up to you. We work very hard to maintain our Good Sam Ratings. You will be happy we do.         Called for information on traveling horses, the woman who answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me, as I was asking questions about her facility and spending the night there with five horses, she referred us to camp in the desert. Boy how would you like to spend 3 or four months dealing with her����

        Only about half the folks bring horses, and we have 3. What a great facility. They have room for 100 horses and I think there were that many there while we were. They have a ferrier, 3 arenas and best of all the riding trails are forever. We got involved in team penning and quadrille. The Gold Rush Parade had hundreds of horses, I think we will get involved in that next year. We arrived a stranger and were one of the folks in no time. The long time guests took us under their wing and showed us the trails and the ropes. My husband and I felt at home immediately. If our pens got wet the owners delivered sand to dry out the pen. If we needed hay it was delivered from town. The vet came in from time to time to take care of special needs. Our site was spacious. Cement patio and a nice tree. Our horse trailer was near our horse for easy tack. They even have a special gate that opens without getting off your horse. I think they have thought of everything and they do it with a smile. We will go back.

        What a beautiful park. Everyone was helpful and courteous. We appreciated that the sites are so large. We had a 40' MH and a large trailer with our ATV's and two vehicles. Everything fit into the site and we still had room to socialize on the cement patio. All the sites had trees, though we were there in the winter when the leaves are gone. We appreciated the dog park and the three dog walks. Every walk has dog waste bags and receptacles and you are expected to pick up. We really like that. We won at bingo. We loved the weekly bonfire and potluck. We are going back next year for an even longer visit.
