Adventure Trail Campground

We came all the way from Texas to work here. The owner is rude, crude and inappropriate. We left. You will be dissatisfied. Not a place for kids. Very unsafe conditions with electric here. Wood on playground is deteriorating and causes splinters. No barefooting, gravel everywhere.

Horrible rude people!! We reserved a night in north carolina and my son got bronchitis his doc said it was ok for him to go if not raining. Well it ended up raining. On the website it says cancellation fee they charged me a full day!! Not to mention the hung up on me when I was telling them what their website said...just horrible i cant predict weather or my son being sick. Was going to go back not anymore!!

well as a person that was employed by don and dolly gaskins,i would strongly recommend this campground for a vacation spot for adults and children,these ppl were so good to me and the whole campground was clean thanx to don and dolly helping me be an excellent housekeeper for the whole place,i miss working here,and I miss these two ppl dearly,they were very good to me and any groups or couples or single ppl that came and spent their time at adventure trails campground,please give them a try and a chance to show their hospitality... <3 you guys very much!! The owner, Don Gaskins, lied to us about reservations that we had held for at least 6 weeks and tried to put some of our party up in a camper, rather than a cabin, which separated them from the rest of our group, and from our Boy Scouts, who were tenting. When we tried for a solution we were met with complete indifference, rudeness, name-calling and profanity (which the children in our party heard.) The campground stunk like sewage and the campers, cabins had roaches and tiny sugar ants. We could get NO money back. The customer is wrong here (and laughed at behind your back.) Absolutely do not recommend to any one under any circumstances. July 2012
