Go on in...but remember....if the owner dislikes you, expect him to be rude, disrespectful, and paranoid. I ordered from him once...but will never again.



Merely asked if the food BBQ ribs were good wanting to know if they we're pork or beef before I placed my order...and he disliked the question. Rolled his eyes, made rude facial remarks, and treated me like I was "crazy" by his facial body language saying he had been in business for 30 years, as if I had no right to ask any questions.



I never treated him like that...why did he have to be rude to me in return for buying from him since it was my first time there? I was polite, and patient even thanking him for having the order up so soon, be he was rude and nasty acting like he was paranoid of me like I was asking too many questions, and seemed like he was annoyed that I even walked into his store, wanting me to go away.



I would think that a person who had been in business for "30 years" would be used to answering questions about the product that he serves. If he's honest, has a good product and cares about the food that he serves for others to eat I would think he would want customers to inquire about how he does business, how the food is handled, and what to expect with ordering, especially if I'm going to be eating it. If his restaurant is so great like they blow on these reviews why did he have to be nasty to the person who was doing him a favor and buying from him, considering he had time to answer questions since the store was slow when I walked in?



I worked in a restaurant once, called the Family Buggy over on Orchard Lake Road and 13 Mile Road in Farmington, and our motto was "The customer is doing us a favor by coming to us, but we are not doing him a favor by serving him. If we don't take care of our customers someone else will, and the customer is the life blood of this, and any other business."



Sure, the food was good, and I was happy with the product, but for me I look at the whole aspect of a business, and as a customer, I like to feel that I am a person and prefer to be greeted in a positive way, instead of being treated like I am a paycheck that is making the owner rich.



Perhaps the owner could use a lesson in business ethics.

Their fried white fish dinner is moist, tender and flaky, not greasy. The best fish dinner in town for the price. We have a take out order about once a week, it's so good.
