We went to this store to buy necessities for our new rescue puppy. While my husband and I were looking at collars, my 6 year old son was looking at the display of Star Wars dog toys. I knew he was taking the toys off the metal display hooks and looking at the toys. I thought nothing if it, since he knows to always put things back where they belong. I always make sure he does! A lady (older,brown hair) that works at this location, came running across the store yelling at my son and myself saying "he is destroying my display"! First of all, he was not destroying it! He was playing with dog TOYS, not glass figurines! He did not destroy the display, he did take about 5 or 6 of the toys off the hooks, but really lady..I don't think he is hurting anyone or himself! I then walked over and told him to put the toys back. She preceded to do it herself, as I kept telling her he will put them back. It was like she thought we would have just left the toys off the hooks. Maybe some do that, but regardless, you do not yell at customers!! Second of all, there is no reason what so ever for your employee to yell at a customer! This is a pet store! A place to pick out fun toys for a pet! A place we should be allowed to let our children get excited about Star Wars dog toys and let them touch them! I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome in your store. We promptly left and went to another local pet store where my son was treated with kindness and respect. He was allowed to touch the toys, in fact he was encouraged by the employee that was helping us. Even after your employee yelled at us, she didn't even ask if we needed any help finding anything!! You lost a potential loyal customer today!!
