The Andrea

This hotel has the worst management I have ever seen. The brother-sister ownership team has no idea how to treat guests and should take a few classes in business management. They talk down to and swear at customers, acuse them of things they "think" the guests did and discriminate against younger adults. While there, there was fight in the hotel lobby between multiple guests complaining and the 2 two owners- with the restaurant guests all watching and listening! Talk about unprofessional!!



The hotel room we stayed in was the tightest fit I've ever been in. It was suppose to be a 5-person room, however to walk around or get ready, we had to take turns standing and sitting on the beds. The shower was smaller than one on cruise ship and had no water pressure. I had to bend my knees to get my head under the shower head- which reminds me that the hotel must have been made for short (below 5'6") people, because going down the stairs my girlfriends and I had to watch our heads! The smell from our room was disgusting! From the smokey grilled food (that lingered on my clothes) to the smell of nasty septic when the breeze blew. There were ants all over the place and my friend found a cockroach in the room.



In addition to the horrible management of the hotel- the housekeepers were beyond rude. They would ease drop on conversations, talk about you behind your back and refuse to provide toilet paper or towels when you run out or need fresh ones.



If you plan to visit misquamicut beach, please do not have a horrible weekend by staying at the Andrea Hotel. Take your $$ elsewhere! I will never spend another dollar at that place!
