Knob Creek Gun Range

I recently took the CCDW class at Knob Creek. I would highly recommend it, especially if taught by Butch. He is very knowledgeable and has a no nonsense attitude (which is needed when teaching gun safety!). I took the class by myself (38 yr old female) with limited gun experience. Butch never once made me feel uncomfortable or "dumb". I left feeling more confident and educated on how to properly and safely conceal carry my gun!

In Response to Joy's experience about women not being treated well. I used to take my daughter in with me to the Knob Creek range and Sumner's on Dixie Hwy. The women used to treat her like a princess. Some of the men were lacking in social skills but they never treated her badly. The parents that started the business are good people who employed mostly women.

They do NOT tolerate women by any means. Went for a class and Butchs first words where ‘you gotta follow directions’ yeah that’s why we were there. If our men had been with us he wouldn’t have made us feel like crap for just being a woman! We were going to buy guns, safes, all the equipment we needed. They lost at least $500 or more today. Bad employees and horrible customer service!

All of the workers are very friendly and knowledgable about the products they sell. They also had great prices on ammo, which is hard to come across now!
