Colton's Steakhouse

Absolutely the worse steak I have ever tried to eat ever. No flavor and not cooked as ordered even the salad with its watered down ranch dressing which they was stingy with and I had to ask for more was disgusting. Needless to say steak was left on plate, no need for doggy bag. Love my dog too much for that. Even the baked potato was so overcooked and old to begin with to be eaten

Well, I work near this Colton's and I will say that the staff constantly frustrate me. Today is 9/7/2016 and I arrived at 12:05 pm for lunch with my wife and my 6 month old son, we were seated quickly and we ordered rather quickly..... BUT the kitchen took so long to get our order to us and I ordered saute mushrooms as one of my sides and it was never brought out, my waitress was busy doing I don't know what but by the time she got back for me to tell her that they didn't bring the mushrooms out it was almost time for me to go, so i told her if the mushrooms were ready I would take them, with a to go box and my ticket. 10 minutes goes by and the waitress didn't show up. I didn't get my drink refilled and some other woman finally showed up with my ticket as I was waiting by the door because I had to get to work. LUNCH MEANS LUNCH SOME PEOPLE ONLY HAVE A LIMITED TIME FOR LUNCH as a restaurant you should know that service needs to be quick because we have to get back to work....

First impressions are important and after my initial visit to Coltons, I will not waste my money again. I ordered the house speciality, thinking surely they want to convey a reputation. They did. I didn't complain, but in retrospect, I should have. Tough steak, little flavor, all atmosphere. Emulating Lone Star with peanuts and shells on the floor doesn't make the food as good as Lone Star. I just wish I had an option for 1/2 a star. They seems to do a good business, so maybe, my meal was a fluke, but I don't gamble.
