Total Nails and Hair Academy

Had the worst experience of my life here! Got color, highlights and was supposed to get a haircut, style and conditioning treatment. They botched my color and highlights and talked over me as if I was not a paying client.. and after 5.5 hours in the chair I had enough inept and rude behavior. I complained about the color and treatment and the owner Michael berated and insulted me then forced me to pay despite being extremely unhappy with the services under threat of calling the sheriff on me. I had to go and get their work corrected at another salon the next day. I'll never be back and I recommend no one else ever go there!

I had my hair colored by one of the INSTRUCTORS (who happened to be very sweet...in fact, quite a few of the people working there were extremely nice), but my hair was destroyed. It was awful, I looked like a clown & everyone stood around me after it was done trying to convince me that it was the lighting & that once my makeup was done it would look good. Seriously.The next day (after having it fixed for 3 hours by another stylist), I returned very calmly and respectfully to express my disappointment.The employees (all but one, who proceeded to insult the beautiful work done by the stylist who fixed the whole mess), agreed that I should be refunded and thanked me for being so calm. But not the owner, Michael. He insulted, belittled & disgraced me in front of everyone and told me "I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE". I have never in my life been spoken to this way by anyone. Another manager who was SO NICE agreed with me, gave me 1/2 my money back, hugged me and apologized for him. She's the reason I'm even giving one star. It was so traumatic I felt physically ill the rest of the day.
