Once Upon A Child

Considering the fact that I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews, I have to say this place has had one too many chances with me as a customer. Went in today and was told everything I brought (somewhat new/clean condition, my daughter used only a handful of times) had holes, ripping etc. Are you serious?! I would never waste my time nor yours to go out of my way and bring you tattered up clothing. With that said, I might as well say that the last item that I bought (the last item I will ever buy there) was an expensive baby wrap. To which I opened up that very day after buying it to try and use, only to see a kids old dried up snot all over the cloth! Disgusting!! You want to tell me how that is allowed when selling?!! To say the least, I will never waste my time there again! So disappointed. I suggest no one else wasting their time.

Store is jam packed..poor lighting difficult to see condition of items til you get home and see all the flaws. Staff is incompetent

Especially store manager ..owner is even worse. Lots of other upscale consignments around avoid this one..takes days to review items brought in then expect you to pick up within 1 day or they threaten items will be sent to some warehouse

Completely inept staff. Not a place that i'd leave my hard earned money. Plenty of other consignment shops that will buy and sell with competence.

One of the employees that work there by the name of MILDRED have embarrassed me and a few other people when she refused a few of the items. She was very rude, condescending and disrespectful. I report that store and that particular employee for her poor customer service. When people go to a store they want to feel welcomed not ridiculed and embarrassed. If you want to be treated with Cece respect and courtesy save the trip and go to a another store not the village store. Better yet you will make way more money if you sell your items online! As a matter of fact the books that I had that they refused I sold them for a good amount$$$$$ Trust save your self the trip.... NOT WORTH IT!

Super nice people working there, especially Kiara the store manager! They really make you feel welcomed once you walk into the store. Their prices are pretty cheap for the really good quality the merchandise is in. It looks more like a new retail store instead of a gently used re-sale store. The store is an asset to West Palm Beach!
